Why Business Sales Fail
Most transactions don’t fail on price. They fail because of:
• Poor preparation and unrealistic valuation
• Weak buyer qualification
• Mismanaged real estate issues
• Deal structures that fall apart under due diligence
We are built specifically to prevent those failures.
What Makes Us Different
Real Estate Fluency
Many business sales fail when real estate is involved. We anticipate and manage
those issues.
Our experience includes:
• Owner-occupied and leased commercial real estate
• Lease assignments, CAM structures, and landlord negotiations
• Transactions involving business + real estate, or long-term leases
• Retail, industrial, service, and mixed-use assets
Business Ownership Perspective
We have worked directly with:
• Owner-operated businesses
• Management-run companies
• SDE-based Main Street transactions
• EBITDA-driven lower middle market deals
We understand cash flow, staWing, risk, and transition realities — because we’ve
dealt with them firsthand.
Who We Represent
We focus exclusively on sellers in:
• Main Street businesses (approximately $150K–$500K SDE)
• Lower middle market companies ($2MM–$10MM enterprise value)
Common industries include:
• Home services and construction trades
• Automotive and collision repair
• Specialty retail and service businesses
• Professional and B2B services
We do not pursue volume. We pursue transactions we can close.
Beyond Brokerage: M&A Advisory
For owners whose businesses exceed traditional brokerage profiles, we provide
M&A-style advisory without unnecessary investment banking complexity.
Our work includes:
• Sell-side advisory for strategic buyers
• Platform add-ons and growth acquisitions
• Partial exits, recapitalizations, and rollover equity
• Coordination with legal, tax, and financial advisors
We bridge the gap between Main Street brokerage and institutional M&A.
Our Business Broker Team

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SELL MY BUSINESS?
The time it takes to sell a business can vary greatly from business to business. On average, it can take anywhere from 3 months to a year to sell a business, but this timeline can be influenced by:
Business Valuation: Properly valuing the business is crucial. Overpriced businesses tend to stay on the market longer.
Type of the Business: Businesses in niche markets may take longer to sell than more general businesses.
Market Conditions: Economic conditions, industry trends, and market demand can all impact the time it takes to find a buyer.
Preparation: How well-prepared the business is for sale (e.g., having all financial documents in order, a solid business plan, etc.) can speed up the process.
Marketing and Exposure: The effectiveness of the marketing strategy and the exposure the business gets can also impact the sale timeline.
Negotiation Process: The length of negotiations and due diligence can add time to the sale process.
Buyer Financing: If a Buyer chooses to finance the transaction rather than pay cash increases the timeline by 1-3 months depending on the bank, loan type, and Buyer responsiveness.
HOW DO YOU GET PAID?
We earn a commission only if you decide to list your business with us and we sell it for an amount you are satisfied with. Our services are 100% performance-based and we never take any money upfront. We only win if you win.
CAN THIS BE A CONFIDENTIAL TRANSACTION?
Yes, all of our business listed for sale are done in a confidential manner.
We require every prospective buyer to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which contains clauses mandating the confidentiality of all acquired information.
In addition, prospective buyers must complete a Buyer Qualification form and a Disclosure Notice of Agency Relationship before any confidential information is disclosed.
If any of these forms are not completed or if the buyer does not appear qualified to successfully purchase the business, we will not release any information.
